O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry and to take necessary action in accordance with law on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2017

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he had purchased the property in question in the year 2012 and he also obtained joint patta No.533. One Abdul Hameed Sayabu had leased out his property in S.No.350/1, 360/2 and 455 etc., to one Modeen Abdul Hameed, whose legal heirs, after his death, by way of forged document, converted the lease deed into a sale deed and also created a lot of encumbrances. It is the further case of the petitioner that though the deceased Modeen Abdul Hameed had no title over the property in respect of Joint Patta No.533, it is incorrect to state that joint patta was granted in his favour also. As per the information sought under the RTI Act, the deceased Modeen Abdul Hameed's name was not at all entered in the said joint patta. The petitioner, narrating all these, submitted a representation dated 07.08.2017 to the respondent for suitable action and since the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

same did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondent, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders passed.

5. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
