Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner joined the Highways Department as Road Inspector Grade - II in the year 2011. He was transferred and posted as Assistant Draughtsman in the year 2015. He was reverted as Road Inspector Grade - II and the same was put to challenge.

3. The petitioner appears to have obtained interim order. But he could not continue in the original place. Only in the year 2018 he joined as Road Inspector Grade - II. The petitioner is now eligible for promotion if this period is taken into account. The petitioner has given a representation for regularizing his period from 17.06.2015 to 21.02.2018.

4. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. 09.06.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No MGA Note: Issue Order Copy on 12.06.2023.
