2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents.
4. The petitioner herein is working as Lab Assistant in the fourth respondent school. He made a claim for grant of Hill allowance and Water allowance in terms of G.O.Ms.No.306, Finance (Pay Cell) 2/5
Department dated 13.10.2017 at the rate of Rs.6,000/- p.m. by submitting a representation dated 25.12.2025 on the ground that the petitioner being posted in the hill area, where he has to travel 15 kilometers up and down, totally, has to travel 30 kilometers and thereby, he is entitled to the payment of Hill allowance and Water allowance in terms of the above said G.O. It is complaining against the non-consideration of the said representation of the petitioner, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
5. The learned Government Counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondents would consider the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law.
6. In the light of the above, without going into the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 25.12.2025 submitted by the petitioner for grant of Hill allowance and Water allowance for consideration as per the order issued by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.306, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 13.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders as 3/5
