Sections 387 and 506(ii) IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused have snatched away a sum of Rs.19,50,000/- and cell phones, which worths about Rs.45,000/-. Hence the case.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the petitioner is having eleven previous cases in his credit, which are as follows:
"Crime Nos.319/2020, 137/2018, 367/2016, 88/2015, 87/2024 and 49/2021, pending before Ammanayakkanur Police Station. Crime Nos.18/2010, 194/2016 and 634/2009 pending before Batlagundu Police Station.
Crime No.94/2012, pending before Kadupatti Police Station. Crime No.61/2013, pending before Madurai DCB Police Station." 2/3
5. Considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
