Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondent police to grant him police protection. The petitioner placed reliance on the decree made in O.S.No.37 of 2011 on the file of District Munsif, Uthamapalayam. It is stated by the counsel for the private respondent that this decree has been challenged in A.S.No.32 of 2014 and is still pending on the file of Sub Court, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No. 11933 of 2021 Uthamapalayam. Since the decree obtained by the petitioner has not attained finality and it is subject to appeal, I am not in a position to grant relief. Leaving open the petitioner's other rights and remedies, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
