ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 2nd respondent herein to register any document being survey numbers 224/2 and 673/2A situated at Pappapkudi Village, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2025.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that, during the pendency of the writ petition, the respondents have already registered the document. However, the contention of the petitioner is that a civil suit is pending between the parties.

3. Considering the facts of the case, the pendency of the suit cannot be a reason to restrain the respondents from registering the document. If the document is registered, it would be subject to lis pendens. The rights of the parties would be determined by the outcome of the suit. Therefore, the present writ petition cannot be entertained.
