: Contemnors / Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.4468 of 2021, dated 04.03.2021.

Prayer in WP(MD). 4468/ 2021 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to directing the respondents to settle interest at the rate of 18 percentage p.a for the belated payment of petitioners teminal benefits including Gratuity, Terminal leave salary, Provident fund and Commutated value of pension from the date of his retirement to till the date on which the said benefits were settled to him.

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.4468 of 2021, dated 04.03.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

Cont.P(MD)No.1172 of 2021 petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission and the endorsement so made, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the calculation arrived upon by the respondents, if so advised.
