Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The writ petitioner is running a Dairy Farm at Kallanai, Alanganallur, Madurai. He claims that he is maintaining an elite crossbred Jersey cow named Peththa.
He, therefore, seeks recognition under Rashtriya Gokul Mission Scheme for award. The third respondent has filed a counter, in which, it has been stated
as follows:- "With regards to the averments made by the petitioner in Para 9 to 12 of the affidavit, it is submitted that the third respondent by taking note of all the above facts directed the Regional Joint Director for a detailed report about the farmer, number of animals, the farming practice, the breeds of animal maintained, the age, calving and milk production details and the available complete records of cow named "petha" for onward transmission to the Government of India for recognition and award under Rashtriya Gokul Mission vide Roc.No.3094/E/TNLDA/2015 dated 29.11.2017 and on getting the details comprehensive report will be sent to the Government of India."
3. The third respondent has agreed that on getting details from the Regional Joint Director, a comprehensive report would be sent to the Government of India.
4. This Court, therefore, directs the third respondent to obtain such a report within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, forward the same to the first respondent. The first respondent shall of course consider the petitioner's case as per the terms of the Rashtriya Gokul Mission Scheme.
5. With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
