O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to quash the impugned letter of the respondent dated 06.10.2017 issued in Ka.No.2.Mipo/Vi/Thir/Koppu/A.No.369/2017. The petitioner also sought a direction to the respondent to give a new electricity connection to the petitioner for constructing a house at Survey No. 254/1 situated at Bharathiyar Nagar, Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, as the respondent has already granted electricity connection to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this

matter. Hence, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
