O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus for a direction to the respondents herein to take necessary action on the basis of his representation, dated 24.08.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Though the prayer in this petition is for issuance of a positive direction to take necessary action on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2017, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider his representation dated 24.08.2017 and to take necessary action in accordance with law.

4.Having regard to the limited prayer now sought by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2017 and pass appropriate order on merits or take appropriate action in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, if necessary, after hearing any other persons who are interested and who may have something to express in defence.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
