ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent herein, wherein the request of the petitioner for granting a certificate that she belongs to a linguistic minority has been rejected.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner claims that her mother tongue is Telugu and she has requested the authorities to furnish a certificate to the said effect. The authorities have rejected the said request primarily on the ground that, the petitioner was not able to produce any record to establish that her mother tongue is Telugu. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the said order.

3. In case, if the petitioner produces any document before the authorities along with a fresh application to establish the fact that her mother tongue is 2/4

Telugu, the authorities are directed to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
