The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned Detention Order passed by the second respondent made in C.No.46/Detention/C.P.O/TC/2024 dated 28.05.2024 on the file of the commissioner of Police, Trichy District, branded the petitioner's father /detenu by name, Gunasekaran @ Guna, S/o. Arumaidoss, aged about 56 years as "Goonda", who is now confined in Central Prision, Trichy and quash the impugned order of detention and set the petitioner's father at liberty by producing him before this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.4743, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 15.07.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government. 2/4

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
