This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant 12% interest per annum for the belated settlement of retirement benefits to the petitioner. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the entire amount had already been settled and as such, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.
