ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 379 I.P.C., and section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.687 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have illegally transported 1⁄4 unit of river sand, hence the case.
3. Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that three similar previous cases are pending against the petitioner.
4. Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
