S.Velayudam Saminathan, aged about 17 years, before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble N.ANAND VENKATESH J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2 on instructions submitted that the victim girl was secured from the custody of the third respondent, who is none other than her uncle. Based on the FIR registered in Crime No.85 of 2025, the third respondent was arrested in the course of investigation and remanded to judicial custody. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending.

3. Today, the victim girl was present along with her parents. She stated that she wants to go along with her parents and pursue her studies.

4. In the light of the above development, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed and there shall be a direction to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Aranthangi, to proceed further with the investigation and complete the same as expeditiously as possible.
