Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb as well as to her property in the light of the judgment passed by this Court, in S.A.(MD)No.1222 of 1999 dated 01.12.2016 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb as well as to her property in the light of the judgment passed by this Court, in S.A.(MD)No. 1222 of 1999 dated 01.12.2016 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2022.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there was property dispute between the petitioner and the rival parties. In which, the petitioner has succeeded the case in S.A.(MD)No.1222 of 1999 dated 01.12.2016. Even then, there is threat to the petitioner's life. Thereby, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 27.06.2022 and the same was not considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents seeks time to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2022. 4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondents police to 2/4

consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.06.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing an opportunity to the aggrieved persons if any.
