O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his daughter, namely, M.Anitha, aged about 18 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the detenue is found missing from 14.10.2020 and despite registration of a case in Crime No.1759 of 2020, no action was taken by the respondent Police.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the detenue as well as the petitioner appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Office of the Public Prosecutor. On enquiry, the detenue stated that since her father / petitioner did not give examination fee, she was staying https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.886 of 2020 in her friend's house and now, she is ready to go with her father / petitioner.
