The petitioner with a grievance that there is a practice of untouchability in his Village, has approached this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he belongs to Scheduled caste and he has been prevented from participating in the temple festival of Kaliamman Temple, Maniyakaranpatti, Dindigul District. Hence, this petition.
3.The other group, who are conducting the temple festival is present before this Court and submits that they also belong to the scheduled caste and they are not adopting any untouchability as complained by the petitioner.

4. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that they have received a representation from the petitioner only by post and no one has appeared before the respondent police and therefore, they have not conducted any enquiry.
5.Since the other group, who are conducting the village festival submits that they also belong to the scheduled community and they have not practiced any untouchability, this Writ petition is dismissed. It is made clear that no one should be discriminated from the petitioner village. No costs.
