PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2022 and shift the TASMAC liquor shop at Sobanapuram Village main road to any other place in compliance of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (In Shops and Bar) Rules, 2003.

************ [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Alleging that the TASMAC shop which is now located in Sobanapuram Village is being shifted to another building which is 500 meters away, the present Public Interest Litigation has been filed for a direction to the respondents not to shift the shop. 2.The petitioner has not placed any credible materials whatsoever to show that there is a proposal to shift the shop as alleged in the affidavit.

3.In view of the same, we find no merit in this Public Interest Litigation and the same is accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
