O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter-in-law, namely, Yogeswari, daughter of Nagarajan, aged about 20 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the respondents Police has produced the detenue girl along with her mother. The detenue girl has stated that she has completed +2 and is doing the Teacher Training Course and she left the parental home some time back and after realizing her mistake, now she has come forward to join with her mother. 2/5

3. When we specifically asked that was there any marriage taken place or solemnized between the detenue and the son of the petitioner who claims to be the mother-in-law of the detenue, the detenue girl stoutly refuted such allegation and stated that she has never married anyone including the son of the petitioner and she wants to go with her mother, namely, K.Saraswathi.

4. The said statement made by the detenue girl is recorded.

5. Recording the same, the detenue girl since is not in illegal custody and has returned back to her mother, we close this Habeas Corpus Petition. (R.S.K., J.) & (K.K.R.K, J.) 19.06.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ssb 3/5
