ORDER
Yesterday (21.05.2025), this matter was taken up for hearing and an interim order was passed. Today, the matter is taken up for hearing for further clarification and final orders are passed in the writ petition. 2.The present writ petition has been filed by 'B' party to the impugned order dated 19.05.2025 challenging the order passed by the respondent herein, wherein there is a direction to appear for an enquiry and the key of the disputed property was directed to be handed over to the Revenue Divisional Officer.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the key was with him and it was handed over by him to the Revenue Divisional Officer. However, the said fact is controverted by the learned counsel appearing for 'A' party and he submits that he had alone handed over the key to the Revenue Divisional Officer.
4.The learned counsel appearing on either side would submit that the revenue records as well as the civil Court orders are in their favour and they 2/4
would like to appear before the authorities concerned and place all the materials before them.
5.It is the apprehension of the learned counsel appearing for 'A' party that the key is likely to be handed over to 'B' party who is the writ petitioner herein. However, it is made clear that the key shall be retained by the respondent till the disposal of the proceedings. The respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass orders.
6.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 22.05.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No msa To 1.The Revenue Division Officer Cum Sub Divisional Magistrate Kodaikanal Dindigul District 3/4
