Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the direction issued by the 2nd respondent dated 02.08.2017 and to direct the 3rd respondent to re-issue patta of the lands of the petitioner measuring 0.62.0 Hec. in Survey No.424/1C and 0.19.5 Hec. in Survey No.424/2C situated in Kari Kuttam Village, Sarkaraikottai Group, Ramanathapuram Taluk and District.

By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3.Alleging encroachment on his land, the petitioner has preferred a petition before the second respondent on 10.07.2017, which was duly forwarded on 02.08.2017, to the third respondent for necessary action, at their end, where the same is kept pending, without any action and hence, the petitioner is before this Court, with the aforesaid prayer.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petition of the petitioner dated 10.07.2017, which was duly forwarded to him by the second respondent on 02.08.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
