O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in (*)Crime No.262 of 2022, from the file of the second respondent police to the third respondent herein, for further investigation and to file a final report before the concerned court, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents filed a status report and submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is that the patta has been transferred by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar in the name of the Vineet Patel and in that she has https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.12470 of 2022 also given a representation to take necessary steps to remove the name of Vineet Patel in the Patta, as per law. However, proper evidence were produced to prove the collusions between the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar and the said Vineet Patel, therefore proper action will be taken as per law. In these circumstances, investigation is pending.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent police is hereby directed to investigate the case and find out whether there is any collusion between the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar and the Vineet Patel with regard to transfer of the name in the patta and to complete the investigation within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
