This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned orders removing the petitioner from service. Before filing this Writ Petition, the petitioner has also filed a Mercy / Review Petition before the first respondent on 30.12.2021. Till date, the Mercy / Review Petition has not been decided by the first respondent. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that a direction may be issued to the first respondent to dispose of the Mercy / Review Petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if such a direction is issued.
4.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's Mercy / Review Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the Mercy / Review Petition filed by the petitioner on 30.12.2021, before the first respondent, within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. In case, the impugned orders have been filed by the petitioner in original / certified copies, the same may be returned to the petitioner by the Registry, after retaining a photocopy of the same. 07.11.2025 Index :Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes/No MR 3/5
