This Writ petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary Police Protection to perform the cultural programme i.e Adal Padal Dance Programme on 18.10.2017 at 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Vettai karuppasamy, Sri Kannimar Thirukovil at Karichipatti, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that the representation has been wrongly given to the Inspector of Police, Chinnamanur Police Station, whereas the Jurisdictional Inspector of Police is the Inspector of Police, Uthamapalayam Police Station. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. It is in these circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a representation before the concerned Sub Inspector of Police or Inspector of Police, Uthamapalayam.

5. In view of the endorsement, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a representation before the concerned Sub Inspector of Police or Inspector of Police, Uthamapalayam on or before 14.10.2017 who will consider the representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 17.10.2017.
