[Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to release the petitioner's husband namely K.Paraman, son of Karthakannan convicted Prisoner, lodged in the Central Prison, Madurai on parole for a period of 21 days for the purpose of medical treatment of the petitioner, based on her representation dated 14.05.2025 made to the first respondent.
2. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the representation made by the petitioner was rejected by the Deputy Superintendent of Prisons, Madurai through proceedings dated 26.05.2025. A copy of the same was also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
