PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.123 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for the offence punishable under Sections 342,297,355,376 (D), 506(ii),414,34 of IPC and section of TNPHW Act and Section 4 of the Prohibition of Women harassment act in crime No.123 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with A1 and A3 committed gang rape on the victim and robbed golden articles and Rs.14000/- belonging to the defacto complainant, hence the case.

4. It is seen the accused persons had committed gang rape on the victim and also robbed golden articles and Rs.14000/- which belongs to the defacto complainant. Though the detention order was quashed by this Court, taking into consideration the grave offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
