ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the order of the 2nd Respondent dated 18.11.2020 and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to award incentive increments to the petitioner's M.A. degree with effect from May 2019 with all attendant benefits and privileges in the light of the judgement reported in 2008(5) MLJ 1349, order dated 05.03.2018 in W.A.(MD) No.895 of 2013 and order dated 17.04.2021 in W.A.(MD) No.616 of 2021 of the Hon`ble Division Bench of this Hon`ble Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.Pon Ramkumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the Petitioner does not wish to press the Writ Petition and has circulated a letter in this connection. He had also made an endorsement to that effect in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition.

Mr.F.Deepak learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents 1 and 2 stated that he had no objection.

In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. Interim Order, if any, stands vacated and the file is consigned to record. There shall be no order as to costs.
