PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned order dated 17.12.2021, passed by the first respondent, in A.P.No.536 of 2011 as illegal and quash the same.

O R D E R

This matter has been referred to the Mediation Centre by this Court, by an order dated 21.03.2025. Accordingly, this matter was placed before the Mediation Centre and the matter is settled between the parties and accordingly, a Settlement Agreement dated 07.04.2025 came to be entered between the parties. The terms of the settlement reads as under: "6.

The following settlement has been arrived at between the parties hereto:

A.

The Legal heir of deceased R.Gnanaraj who is R2, R3 & R4 herein agrees to settle the case and the petitioner also agrees to settle the case. B.

The Respondent Nos.2, 3 & 4 who are legal heirs herein accepted to receive the (Gratuity, P.F, etc) terminal benefits of deceased R.Gnanaraj and

the petitioner also accepted to settle the above said eligible terminal benefits except back wages to the Respondents 2, 3 & 4 as early as possible. C.

The deceased R.Gnanaraj who worked in the petitioner Transport Corporation was died during his service. So now, the Respondent No.3 wants a job in compassionate ground in petitioner's Transport Corporation and R2 & R4 are willing to give no objection to R3. For his job, the petitioner also agrees that, if the Respondent No.3 applies a job in compassionate ground as per Government norms and rules, they are ready to consider him for the job.

By signing this Agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to W.P.(MD) No.14879 of 2022 and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicably settled by the Parties hereto through the process of Mediation / Conciliation."

2. In the light of the above, there is no necessity to adjudicate the matter on merits. The Settlement Agreement dated 07.04.2025 is taken on record.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the said Settlement Agreement dated 07.04.2025.

4. Registry is directed to enclose a copy of the said Settlement Agreement dated 07.04.2025 along with a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.04.2025 NCC :
