This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment or agricultural land or pension form 17.10.2007 with arrears and interest to the petitioner under annexure I, Schedule under rule 12(4) Serial Number 21 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner was granted family pension as per the said Rules and since it was stopped subsequently by the second respondent, he made several representations to the respondents, seeking pension or employment to his son. As no fruitful result is forthcoming, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that if reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2016 in the light of annexure I, Schedule under rule 12(4) Serial Number 21 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
