Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus direct the respondents to provide employment or agricultural land or pension from the date of death of the petitioner's father with arrears and interest to the petitioner under annexure I, Schedule under rule 12(4) serial number 21 of the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment or agricultural land or pension form the date of death of the petitioner's father with arrears and interest to the petitioner under Annexure-I, Schedule under Rule 12(4) Serial Number 21 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the death of the petitioner's father, he made a representation to the second respondent on 04.09.2017, seeking employment or pension as per the Rules mentioned above. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that if reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.

4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2017 in the light of Annexure I, Schedule under Rule 12(4) Serial Number 21 of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
