O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction and grant Provident Fund Loan of a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner from his Provident Fund Contribution for the medical expenses of his wife within the time stipulated as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.Before filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner is stated to have made a representation dated 13.09.2017 to the first respondent, seeking the aforesaid relief. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the said representation would be considered and disposed of on merits in accordance with law.

4.Though the petitioner sought for larger relief, having regard to the aforesaid submissions made by both sides, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the first respondent to dispassionately consider the representation dated 13.09.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 15.12.2017.

5.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
