Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University to issue forthwith the Non Objection Certificate to the petitioner's college namely St. Charles College of Education for starting the 4 years integrated programme viz. B.Sc. B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed. Courses from the Academic Year 2017-2018 and in turn direct the second and third respondents to give recognition for the said programme from the Academic Year 20172018.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to issue forthwith the Non Objection Certificate to the petitioner's college namely St. Charles College of Education for starting the four years integrated programme viz., B.Sc. B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed. Courses from the Academic Year 20172018 and also direct the second and third respondents to give recognition for the said programme from the Academic Year 20172018. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner submitted an online application dated 01.06.2016 to the second respondent through the third respondent for grant of recognition to four years integrated programme of B.Sc. B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed. Courses from the Academic Year 2017-2018. The petitioner also submitted an application for obtaining No Objection Certificate for the said purpose as per the new regulation, on 22.06.2016 and the same is pending. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the application of the petitioner dated 22.06.2016, seeking No Objection Certificate, is disposed of by the fourth respondent as per law, for which the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent has no serious objection. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the fourth respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 22.06.2016, and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of as above.
