ORDER
This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 236 days in preferring the criminal revision case against the order, dated 14.06.2024, passed in Criminal Appeal No.163 of 2023 by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge (FTC), 1/4
Kumbakonam.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already at the time of appeal, 20% of the compensation amount has been deposited to the credit of S.T.C.No.266 of 2019 on the file of learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur. Thereafter, the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge (FTC), Kumbakonam had dismissed Crl.A.No.163 of 2023 for non-prosecution, against which this criminal revision case is filed with a delay of 236 days. Seeking to condone the said delay, this criminal miscellaneous petition is filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is willing to pay the remaining compensation amount before the trial Court.
4. Hence, the delay of 236 days in filing the revision case is condoned, on depositing the remaining compensation amount with interest to the credit of S.T.C.No.266 of 2019 on the file of learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner should produce the receipt of payment before this Court.

5. Registry is directed to number the criminal revision case and post the same for hearing on 08.07.2025.
