Heard the learned counsel on either side.

The petitioner had submitted the petition mentioned application for renewal of his passport. Since the petitioner is involved in a criminal case, his application has not been processed.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that the criminal case against the petitioner is pending only at FIR stage.

4. Therefore, there cannot be any impediment for processing the petition mentioned application. The first respondent is directed to process the petition mentioned application and issue passport to the petitioner subject to fulfillment of the other usual formalities.
