This petition is filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.119 of 2017 dated 09.05.2017 and file a final report on the file of the respondent police. 1/4

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.119 of 2017, which was registered against the accused person, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police seeks one month time to complete the investigation and file a final report. 4.Considering the nature of crime, one month time is granted to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.119 of 2017, Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 14.07.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no vsd 2/4
