This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide water connection to the petitioner's house and other houses in the village of Rettaikulam, Kulaiyaneri Panchayat, V.K.Pudur Taluk, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representations and legal notice dated 15.10.2016, 04.09.2017 and 29.06.2017 respective.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's village was sanctioned 204 individual water pipe connection and in order to get water pipe connection to his house, he has given representations to the respondents. Since the same have not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
