O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to allow him to participate in the medical examination for the post of Jail Warder on the ground that he has secured the cut off marks of 67 for SC general category candidate, to which he belongs.

2. Heard Mr.C.Sathis Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandina, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

It is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents relying on para 7 of the counter affidavit dated 27.10.2017 filed by the respondent that when the same cut-off mark is obtained by more than one candidate and vacancies are not available to accommodate all of them, such https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

vacancies are filled up according to the priority in date of birth. It has been pointed out that the cut-off date of birth for the post of Jail Warder for the cut of marks of 67 is 15.03.1993 and whereas the petitioner was born on 10.06.1997 and in such circumstances, the claim of the petitioner cannot be granted.
