O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2017 and issue inter-caste marriage certificate to her.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that she married one Raja Abu Backer on 05.09.2016. As the marriage is an inter-caste marriage, in order to enjoy the benefits and subsidies of intercaste marriage, she has given a representation to the respondents to get inter-caste marriage certificate, which was not considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
