For Respondent : Mr.R.Erottuchamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :-For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.244 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC and Section 21(1) of Mines & Minerals (Development and Regulation)Act, 1957 in crime No.244 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is said to have illegally transported one and half unit of river sand without valid permit. Hence, the complaint.

3.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P. No.13334 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
