For Respondent : Mrs.M.AnanthaDevi, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.2494 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.2 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 395 of IPC, in Crime No.2494 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that when the defacto complainant and her friend travelled in her motorbike, some strangers have interrupted them and snatched their OPPO,REDME cell phones and motorbike. Hence, the complaint.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

CRL OP(MD). No.11938 of 2020 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is having 6 previous cases similar in nature in Crime No.937 of 2017, Crime No.938 of 2017, Crime No.1050 of 2017, Crime No.507 of 2018, Crime No.43 of 2019 and Crime No.17 of 2020 before the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Town North Police Station, Dindigul District. 6.Taking into considering the fact that the petitioner is having six previous cases similar in nature, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is absolutely necessary. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
