[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 11.01.2024 made in W.P.(MD)No.2874 of 2016.

2.By the said order, the Court has directed the respondent herein to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits within a period of twelve weeks.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with and in respect of his contention, he has produced a copy of the order passed by the respondent dated 11.07.2024 and the copy of which now has also been served on the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who, on receipt of the same, has expressed satisfaction that since the order of this Court has been complied with, this Contempt Petition can be closed. 4.Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
