O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.01.2015, 18.05.2015, 18.01.2016, 27.03.2017 and 03.06.2017, in which enhancement of compensation has been sought for.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he has constructed an apartment containing four houses in S.No.319/1A3A1 and 319/1A3A2 situated at Keelakoilpattu, Udaiyarkoil, Papanasam Taluk and he was residing in one house. While so, the respondents acquired the said house for forming national highway and fixed a meagre amount as compensation. Hence, the petitioner has given several representations seeking enhancement of compensation and also for allotment of an alternative house site. Since the same have not been considered till date, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
