For Respondent : Mr.Kr.Bharathi Kannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 692 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1) (aaa), 4(1)(i), 4(1-A) of TNP Act in crime No.692 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused have illegally transported 602 liquor bottles. Hence, the complaint.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.11985 of 2020 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
