The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his name for appointment to the post of Sweeper as per his employment seniority and based on the interview held on 24.12.2014 in Seithur Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Virudhunagar District, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent and the learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner fulfills all the eligible criteria for appointment to the post of Sweeper as per the interview held on 24.12.2014, but till date, no results were declared. Further, there is no progress with regard to the same. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the parties, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to publish the results, on the basis of the interview held on 24.12.2014, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, consider the case of the petitioner, if he is found eligible. 5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
