2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, these writ petitions itself are taken up for final disposal.

3.At this stage of the hearing of these Writ Petitions, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if the representations of the petitioner, dated 18.04.2017, is directed to be disposed of, by the respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of these Writ Petitions and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioner, dated 18.04.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording sufficient opportunity to the petitioner as well as the other interested persons, if any.

6. The Writ Petitions stand disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
