O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in O.Mu.A3/4833/2017 dated 30.08.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he is having property in S.No.281/1, measuring to an extent of 0.51.0 ares situated at Annavasal Town Panchayat, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukottai District. He sold some extent of the said land and in respect of the remaining portion of the property, one Iluvan created forged documents and got patta in his favour and in order to cancel the patta, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has filed an application before the first respondent and the same was taken on file in O.Mu.A3/4833/2017. Since the same is pending without passing any orders, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in O.Mu.A3/4833/2017 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and any of the interested parties. 5.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
