ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent Bank to de-freeze and permit the petitioner to operate his Account No.02920100002049 based upon the Petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is drawing the pension amount through the Account No. 02920100002049 maintaining with the second respondent Bank. When the petitioner withdraw the money by using ATM Card, the access was denied. In such circumstances, the petitioner approached the second respondent's Bank and they informed that her account was frozen as per the direction of the first respondent. Being a retired teacher and the poor health condition, it was very difficult for the petitioner to eke out her livelihood. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 05.07.2022 to the respondents herein to de-freeze the petitioner's account. Since, no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing for the respondents submitted that the bank account of the petitioner in Account No. 02920100002049 is de-freeze on 22.07.2022.
