By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to put up the temporary shed (Kottagai) for the purpose of temple festival scheduled to be held on 30.05.2025 and 31.05.2025 in conformity with the judgment and decree, dated 20.03.2020 passed by the learned Subordinate Judge, Aruppukottai in A.S No.21 of 2018. 3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the matter will be dealt with in terms of the order passed by the first respondent, dated 28.04.2023.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the same is with respect to the temple festival which was already held during the year 2023. The 2/5

anticipation of the petitioner is that citing the fourth reason in the aforesaid order, the respondent authority may prevent the petitioner from putting up a temporary shed for the purpose of temple festival.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to put up temporary shed for the purpose of temple festival scheduled to be held on 30.05.2025 and 31.05.2025 in conformity with the judgment and decree, dated 20.03.2020 passed by the learned Subordinate Judge, Aruppukottai in A.S No.21 of 2018. It is made clear that the petitioner should remove the temporary shed on 01.06.2025 on completion of the temple festival without creating inconvenience to the common public.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 28.05.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No sn 3/5
