O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to pass necessary orders based on the inspection conducted by them on 13.9.2017 in the premises at No.9, South Bypass Road, Melapalayam, Tirunelveli.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner company opened a retail shop in the premises at No.9, South Bypass Road, Melapalayam, Tirunelveli after getting necessary approval, building permission and N.O.C. etc., Subsequently, as there was a change in usage of the said premises, the petitioner submitted a revised plan for approval and the same was approved by the concerned committee on a condition to get No Objection Certificate from the Fire Service Department. Therefore, the petitioner approached the respondent herein and the respondent also inspected https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioners' building on 13.09.2017. However, no orders have been passed till today, based on the inspection conducted by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondent, suitable orders will be passed based on the inspection conducted by the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to pass appropriate orders based on the inspection conducted on 13.9.2017 in the premises at No.9, South Bypass Road, Melapalayam, Tirunelveli, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
